I audited 14 aesthetics clinics around Hertfordshire this week for my Dream 10 list.
Most of them charge £150 to £1,700 for treatments.
7 of them had the same 3 problems:
No visible logo on Instagram. A logo cropped or too small on their website. And an Instagram that looks nothing like their website.
Your early branding got you to regular clients. It won’t get you to £500+ bookings without haggling.
When you started, DIY was smart. Canva, a pink palette, a quick logo on a highlight cover – it got you booked.
But at £500+? Your client isn’t buying a treatment. She’s buying trust. And trust is visual.
I call these Brand Leaks. Here are the 3 I see costing you premium bookings right now:
Leak 1: The disappearing logo
You have a logo, but it’s only on your highlight covers. Or it’s tiny on your website. Or it’s not on your Instagram at all.
At £500+, your client needs to know who she’s trusting in 2 seconds. If she can’t see your logo, she can’t remember you, refer you, or rebook you.
Fix this week: Put your primary logo in the same place everywhere – profile photo, website header, booking page. Not a cropped version. Not a different colour. The same one.
Leak 2: The mismatch
Your website is nice. Your Instagram is DIY. Or your Instagram is polished and your website is very pink, text-heavy, and basic.
I saw one clinic this week – lovely website, but no logo on Instagram and a mix of AI graphics. Another – nice colour palette, but no logo visible anywhere and a really basic logo on a basic site.
When your IG and website feel like two different brands, your £500+ client hesitates. Premium brands feel like one brand everywhere.
Fix this week: Pick your 2 fonts, 3 colours, and 1 logo lockup. Use only those on your next 6 posts. No new Canva templates.
Leak 3: The cropped trust
Logo too close to the edge. Logo cropped in your profile. 5 different graphic styles. DIY posts with 10 lines of text.
At premium, clarity is trust. Established brands leave space. They don’t shout.
Fix this week: Give your logo breathing room – at least the height of your logo on all sides. And cut your captions on graphics to 5 words max. Let the photo do the work.
Early brand vs Established brand
Early brand gets you to regular clients.
Established brand gets you to £500+ clients who rebook, refer, and don’t ask for discount. It’s a system that works on Instagram, website, and booking page without you remaking it every week.
That’s what I do in the studio:
The Brand Leak Check – 20 minutes, 3 leaks costing you bookings + 3 moves to fix this week. For £150+ founders with regular clients whose brand still looks DIY.
The Luxury Rebrand – 4 studio days, £3,800. One clear system to raise your prices and be taken seriously by £500+ clients.
Brand Partnership – £550/mo. I keep it consistent while you’re busy with clients.
Your treatments are premium. Your visuals should match.
I’ll be back next month with a teardown of how a premium clinic loses trust with no logo on Instagram – and how she fixes it.
